Alison provides strategic leadership and direction as part of Van Wyk’s ownership team. As a shareholder of the company, she is responsible for Van Wyk’s personal insurance division, student internship program, human resources, and information technology.
Alison develops and manages private family groups and the various personal insurance and risk management needs of business owners, executives, and family members.
Alison is the director of Van Wyk’s highly acclaimed internship program in partnership with Calvin University and Lloyd’s of London.
Alison also tracks the educational pursuits of Van Wyk’s professionals, assisting with continuing education requirements and licensing in more than forty states.
Alison is licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance. She holds the professional designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), serves on the Partner XE user board and has served on SECURA Insurance Company’s president’s advisory council. Alison has a Bachelor of Science degree in business and social sciences from Calvin University, and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in human resource development from Western Michigan University.
