Matt is a vice president who serves as a team leader to our valued clients. He works closely with client managers to provide innovative solutions for managing risks and exceptional service. Matt is highly regarded for his diverse financial management skills, customer service expertise, and experience in business development. Matt provides a thorough analysis of risk management and tailors unique and advantageous solutions for the clients he serves. He serves a wide range of clients and specializes in finding alternative ways to transfer risks and implementing group captive programs.
Matt holds a license in Property and Casualty insurance. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Calvin University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Western Michigan University. Matt has also obtained the Certified Authority on Workers’ Compensation (CAWC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations.
Matt serves as a strategic partner and speaker for the West Michigan chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. He is actively involved in the risk management committee of The First Tee of West Michigan and provides advisory services as the endorsed risk management partner for the ISA Michigan – International Society of Arboriculture. Matt was honored with the 2018 Young Guns Award by Insurance Business America, a national publication that recognizes outstanding insurance professionals under the age of 35.
