David J. Hop has devoted his career to risk management and insurance. Many prestigious businesses have already benefited from his high-level expertise, client-centered service, and fresh approach to risk management.

As Senior Vice President, Dave provides leadership and strategic direction as part of Van Wyk’s executive management team. He also acts as a client executive, bringing the significant advantages of Van Wyk’s risk management approach to commercial clients locally, regionally and worldwide.

Prior to joining Van Wyk Risk & Financial Management in 2005, Dave served as Senior Vice President at a large, national insurance brokerage company. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Davenport University and is a licensed insurance professional. Dave is active in many local organizations and has served in a leadership capacity for his church.
