Rick Eitman has more than 25 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance. As Commercial Client Manager, Rick acts as an advisor, advocate and ally for Van Wyk’s clients locally, regionally and nationwide.

Rick comes to Van Wyk from a large, national insurance brokerage company where he worked extensively with loss sensitive programs such as captives, self-insured and retrospective rating plans. He began his career as a producer with Farmers Insurance in 1980 and then led the personal lines department at Frank B. Hall before moving on to Shield Insurance in 1991.

Rick earned a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University. He is licensed in risk management, property, casualty and life insurance. He is extremely active in his local community, teaching an English as a Second Language (ESL) course two nights a week and volunteering at his church.
